forget long black socks and gloves?
Students must have, in addition to their uniform jacket and bibbers, their black marching shoes, and long black socks and black gloves. These items are part of a complete marching uniform. Deductions are taken by the field judges for not having them.
Long black socks must come up high enough so that no skin shows when the students move, march, kneel, etc.
If your student needs socks or gloves at the Competition, we will give them a pair. The charge is $10 and can be paid then or will be assessed to your student's CHARMS account. This is not a fundraiser, we expect them to have these items with them.
PACK PAYMENTS are past due
Marching Pacs are past due and are paid through your student's CHARMS account.
Instructions on how to pay can be found here.

Band Commission for David Neubauer
Donate at GoFundMe link below
Beloved Templeton Middle School band director David Neubauer passed away unexpectedly in January of 2021. He leaves behind a legacy of nurturing a love and interest in music as well as relationships and connections made through many hundreds of students throughout the course of his career. In order to create a lasting memorial to be shared not only by students whom he impacted as a teacher and mentor, but also future generations of young musicians who pass through the program we are commissioning a new piece for middle level concert band by David's favorite band composer, Mike Sweeney. One of David's proudest professional moments came when Mike agreed to work with him on his multi-grade band festival held each spring, and quickly became a highlight of his career. Besides being a passionate advocate for instrumental music, David also gave himself wholly to his family, who were the center of his world. He is greatly missed and we look forward to being able to honor his life and work through this project. The commission is to be completed sometime in the fall, so our fundraising goal will be to fund it by August 2021. The funds will be distributed by the Hamilton School District Band Boosters Association - any funds beyond what is required for the commission will go to upgrade equipment at David's home schools of Templeton Middle School and Silver Spring Intermediate school in Sussex, WI.
