Concession Fundraiser at WSMA District Festival
Volunteers & Support Needed
The Charger Band works the concession stand all day during the WSMA District Festival. This is a great opportunity for the band to raise much needed funds for our program. All funds raised will go towards large Wish-List items for the band. Please consider donating your time and/or money! Last year was very successful and we are confident this year will be more so.
Purchase from the Concession Booth
Don't forget to stop by the concession stands during the festival to purchase your snacks and drinks! The concession stand will be operated from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Homestead Cafeteria/Commons area.
Volunteers Needed
The concession stand relies on parent volunteers in order to keep it functioning. We are looking for volunteers to help with sales the day of at Homestead High School, as well as loans of crock pots and Nescos that can be used for food warming, and coolers to keep all of the drinks cold. If loaning these items, we will need them by Monday, March 11. They can be dropped off in the band room, or email Beth Volden to arrange something. Please clearly label any items you loan so we can get them home again!
Cash Donations Appreciated
We are asking Band families for cash donations that will be used to purchase the items to sell at concessions. This will allow us to grow the money donated, and gives us more purchasing power. We have already solicited donations from local business, enabling us to expand, and hopefully make a larger profit this year.
